Another One Bites the Dust

Ok so since Aaron and I have been dating, (4 years since we've started dating), I've run out of fingers and toes to count the number of weddings we've been to/been invited to even if we couldn't attend.  This past Saturday, two more friends from college got married.  It was a beautiful ceremony, Pastor Sam L (I'm not even going to try to spell his last name), gave a great message about leaving, cleaving, and weaving.  It was fantastic.  Ashley, the bride looked so beautiful! It was a small intimate wedding of about 90 people, and it was a InterVarsity reunion of sorts.  There are many of us spread out over the country so it was nice to see some people we don't get to visit often.  But what's a wedding without pictures right? So here are some pictures of the beautiful day.

 What my camera has been doing lately, it shakes and won't stop thus preventing good pictures. 

 The photo above and many below are what happen when you give Andrew and Brandon  your cameras and ask them to take a picture. 

 Huzzah!  We finally got the picture of me, Molly, and Sky!!!!

 Apparently I forgot to rotate the picture but husband and his best friend, Brandon.

 Yep, chances of getting a picture of them serious together occurred only at our wedding :)

Although washed out it's the best one we got.  Hopefully someone else got a better one :).

Saturday Snapshot

It's that time of week again!  Time to link up with Kim from Yellow Songbird.  I really enjoy getting to look back on some old photos.  This week I'm posting one from the beginning of my relationship with my husband.  I can't believe it but tomorrow is our 1 year anniversary! Where did the time go??? Ooo, pick me, pick me, I know I know!  We went to Mexico for our honeymoon, then we went to Lynchburg, VA for his summer classes, then we went to a few weddings in this area, went to Pittsburgh for Christmas, back to Lynchburg after that, then to Illinois for another wedding.  We also started a youth group this year, what a blessing.  We both left Facebook.  We have had such a wonderful first year of marriage, sure there are some disagreements, but we can't stand to be upset with one another.  We always make up before we go to bed.  God is sooo good to us.  I know this may not always be the case but I'm so thankful for how much we think alike and work together.  Oh sweet husband of mine I love you!!!  Thank you for a wonderful year! 

In this picture, I stole his hat, which I did frequently.  He had "hat" for like 8 years.  Unfortunately somehow, hat disappeared last year, (no, I didn't throw out hat, I loved him as much as Aaron did). :( This was probably in our first 3 months of dating.

About an hour before the ceremony, our photographers decided to "torture" us by allowing us to be so close without being able to see each other. They backed us up against the wall so we couldn't see each other. . . I was just a hands reach away!  I loved it though because I could at least hear his voice even though I really didn't want him to see me before the I walked down the aisle!  Can't believe this was a year ago now!  Wow!

Thankful Thursday

1. I got to spend a lot of time with my family the last week.
2. I serve a risen Savior!!! That's the most awesome thing EVER!
3. I have two little girls that I watch that just love spending time with me.  Thank You Lord for the time I have left with them.  I love them soooo muchly!
4. Aaron and I celebrate our 1-year anniversary this weekend! :) So exciting to me!  So So So excited!!! So I'm sooooooo thankful for my relationship with my AWESOME husband!  I seriously love him so much.  I know that God put us together!  Too Perfect!

Saturday Snapshot

So funny!  I had to pick this one this week.  Last week I posted a wedding photo.  This week I posted another! My husband wanted dinosaur cake toppers for our wedding, I said no.  We already had a cake topper that I really liked.  One day when we were at the craft store, he and his friend Brandon (our best man), were playing with some dinosaurs there.  I said, "Pick out two."  He had no idea why I was allowing him to get the dinosaurs, which was awesome.  Then as a surprise for the rehearsal dinner, I made these into the cake toppers.  He's the groom of course, and I'm the bride.  I think my favorite part is the top hat on the groom.  Love it! They still reside in our home, on our end table by the door.  They are very special to us.

New Blog New Blog

now that we're a married pair, new blog, new blog, now we have a place to share. . .

Hello Everyone,

I decided to start a new blog now that:

1. I'm married to Aaron and we can now share this blog

2. I have a new email address

3. I have more time to blog again (since I'm not working/planning for a wedding)

Aaron and I have been married just over 2 1/2 months now! So exciting! We are loving married

life. We received our wedding photos back from the photographer. There were so many great ones! We decided to get a photobook made through snapfish.com. They are so awesome! I am so excited for it to come in. Here are a few of my favorite photos from the wedding.
